Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
MBSR is an internationally renowned programme incorporating training in mindfulness practices, stress physiology and cognitive awareness. It was developed by Jon Kabat Zinn in 1979, at the University of Massachusetts medical centre and uses a combination on mindfulness, body awareness and simple yoga postures.
It is offered as a complement to medical and psychological treatments, as well as for general overall health enhancement, improved wellbeing and self-care.
Sheryl Bathman
Sheryl is Australian and has lived in Singapore for over 15 years.  She is a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist and a qualified MBSR teacher, trained and recognised by the Center for Mindfuness UMass, U.S.
Sheryl was the first to bring MBSR to Singapore in 2010 and offers the programme a few times a year to the public.Date: Monday, 9th Feb 2015
