Deep Relaxation Mindful Meditation In Thich Nhat Hanh tradition

Picture1
Deep relaxation is an important practice that helps take care of our body. When our body is relaxed, our mind will also be calm. In deep relaxation we practice stopping and letting go, using the breath as an anchor to listen deeply to our body. In this 60-minutes exercise we will have a good chance to offer total rest to our body and mind through mindful breathing and mindfulness songs which will be led by Elin Lim (who will be strumming the guitar).

About Le
Ho Gia Anh Le is a lecturer of Vietnamese language and culture. She has been practicing mindfulness in the Plum Village tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh since 2012. She is passionate about sharing mindfulness practice with other people, especially the youth. She loves to cultivate joy and peace through daily activities such as mindful breathing, mindful walking, mindful cooking and gardening.

About Elin Lim
Elin enjoys walking the path of understanding and love. She likes practising yoga, reading, painting and strumming on the guitar. The majority of songs she sings so beautifully are poems penned by the monastics at Plum Village under the tradition of Zen Teacher Thich Nhat Hanh. The teachings of mindfulness and its healing effects deeply touch her heart. She hopes to continue to learn and share the fruits of awakening, understanding and contribution with everyone.
