Back from retreat – renewed intentions, new courses and new events
Amid the clear blue skies and calm ocean, the retreat did what it set out to do – opening our hearts with big doses of dharma prescribed by Doctor Lama Marut.
Everyone went home feeling refreshed and recharged with a new energy to – not necessarily transform completely – but to change our lives a little. Many of us having the intention of finding ways to serve others more and worry less about ourselves.
On the last day, we sat in a big circle and shared our resolutions with each other. Many resolutions that were read out included resolving to treat family and friends kinder, do more charity, start a meditation practice, incorporate more yoga into our lives and staying close to ACI or taking one of our courses.
When the intention is right, the divine assists in its own special way. It is strangely timely then, that we are starting two new courses very very soon – ACI Course 10 – A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life starts this Monday, 1st April and the Lady Niguma Yoga Workshop series starts tomorrow, 31 March by certified yoga teacher Kelly Tan. All details below or at our website aci-sg.org
We hope that you, along with my fellow retreatants, will find our activities useful in either kickstarting or supporting your best intentions.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!

A Final Thought
