Meditation, the Great Teacher
“The more we understand ourselves, the more flexible, tolerant and compassionate we can be. We are ready to forgive and forget. We understand others because we have understood ourselves. We see our own failings, so compassion for others is automatic. An accomplished meditator has achieved a profound understanding of life, and he or she inevitably relates to the world with a deep and uncritical love.”
~ Mindfulness in Plain English, by Bhante Gunaratana
